Lost Idea

Lost Idea began from an interest in the transience of trends and in the process through which meanings collapse and are replaced by other meanings. In the early works, Kurimune placed broken glass plates over magazine gravure images, visualizing the fragility of information, desire, and visual value.

In Phase II, AI generates new images over the structure of these cracks, and multiple images shift according to the viewer’s position through lenticular structures. The series reconsiders how perception and memory respond in a contemporary condition where information is continuously updated.

Updates on works and exhibitions.
